Eduweb’s mission is to create
exciting and effective learning experiences that hit the sweet
spot where learning theory, digital media, and fun meet.
Eduweb is an award-winning developer of digital learning games and activities. We
engage the many ways people learn with the thoughtful application
of learning theory, imaginative conceptualizations, and unflinching
evaluation. Our broad experience in museum and K-12 education,
combined with our deep subject knowledge of art, history and science,
fuels our commitment to develop compelling and effective learning
experiences. Since 1996, we have produced immersive, interactive,
and in-depth adventures on a wide variety of subjects.
Research
As digital educators, we must offer audiences raised on
video games and fast-paced television not just the excitement
they expect, but cognitive and creative experiences that go
beyond what traditional media and hands-on experiences can
easily give them. To that end, we draw upon current learning
theory and audience research to more effectively connect with
the many ways of that people engage and learn about the world.
Development
We incorporate these research-based insights into our structured
information architecture process. Working closely with clients,
we carefully consider goals, audiences, and content in the
conceptualization and implementation of every project. We
offer complete Web development services, including concept
and content development, visual design and illustration, and
Web production and user testing.
Results
To find out what really works, we regularly evaluate projects
with kids and adults. Our evaluations seek to capture the
many measures of success, including intrinsic measures such
as user engagement and meeting learning outcomes, and external
measures such as site visitation. We are excited to examine
the new world of online learning and encourage clients to
include evaluation as an integral part of the development
process.
